Sitting/Dining/Kitchen
Bright and airy due to the high ceilings, this stunning, open-plan living area has a traditional bay window to the front. The wall panelling and Karndean flooring has been carried through. Thoughtfully furnished, the sitting area has contemporary sofa's and an armchair. In addition, 2 x 'Sherlock' style chairs are perfectly positioned in the bay window, to take full advantage of those sea views. Co-ordinated occasional furniture, soft furnishings and lamps. The dining area has a large dining table which seats 8 comfortably. Positioned between the sitting and kitchen areas, this allows everyone to stay connected whether for lunch, evening meals or entertaining.

The luxury kitchen has an abundance of cabinet and open shelf storage, is topped with quartz work surfaces, and is positioned around a peninsula unit which houses the sink which has an instant hot water tap/water filter, dishwasher, and concealed recycling containers. Adjacent is the stainless steel range cooker (electric 5 ring induction hob, double oven and grill) with concealed extractor hood above. Integrated Fridge/Freezer. The front gate gives access to the entrance steps. The grassed and patio areas are for the private use of guests. To the right of the Villa there is a path which leads to the back door of the property on the left, and further to The Fife Coastal Walk Pathway.

Parking
There is no private parking at the front of Rollo Villa. Parking is available at The Temple Car Park, which is only a few minutes walk away (approx. 200m).

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Beautiful property, accommodation and location. Extremely quiet and peaceful - slept so soundly. Prime location for beach, coastal path and exploring the East Neuk of Fife. So relaxed after our break. Top class. Will definately return soon

Stayed twice this summer. Freshly refurbished and lives like a classy, comfortable home. It has every amenity for comfort. Smart thermostat. High end kitchen appliances. Big TV's. Ample storage space for large items like golf clubs. We loved having the Fife coastal hiking trail right out the back door, as well as the beach just steps away. We even had a swim! Cute healthy options for breakfast/lunch, a couple of pubs and a good restaurant within an easy walk. We really enjoyed our stay!

I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely apartment which is in a very peaceful location. The open plan layout of the kitchen and living area created a lovely space for our family including our 3 month old grandson. The sitting areas in the bay window and sun porch were perfect for gazing out at the views of the sea. Parking was no problem, as we were able to pull up on the quiet road outside to unload, then park in the nearby car park. It was only a few minutes walk along the beach or road to The Crusoe Hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean on our arrival. We all loved the place and definately plan to return.

Location

Lower Largo is a picturesque, beach front village with local shops and amenities, two pubs (Including the newly refurbished (2021) Crusoe bar/restaurant with inside/outside dining. Lower Largo is just one of the many pretty coastal towns that occupy this stunning stretch of coastline — connected by the Fife Coastal Walk pathway — including Pittenweem (famous for its arts festival), St Monan’s and Crail (where you can buy fresh crab and lobster at the harbour). The area is Golfer heaven with Lundin Links and Elie Golf House (plus Elie Sports Club also offers a nine-hole course suitable for beginners, a pitch and putt green, as well as tennis and golf camps for children during the school holidays) whilst the famous links courses, the Old Course St Andrews and Kingsbarns, are less than 15 miles away. A new course, the Dumbarnie Golf Links Golf Course and Country Club which opened in May 2020, is just 3 miles approx. outside of Lower Largo. There is also an equestrian centre at Kilconquhar Castle Estate, and recently revamped 17th century pub and restaurant, The Kinneuchar Inn whose chef patron, James Ferguson, has outstanding culinary credentials. St Andrews has an array of excellent shops and restaurants, as well as a cinema, theatre and indoor swimming pool.
