Listed below is a selection of questions our guests ask. If you require further information, please contact our office.

  • When do I pay for the rental?

    A deposit of 25% of the rental, plus the booking fee is due at the time of booking.  The balance of the rental, plus any supplement (fuel, dog etc) is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Please refer to our T & C’s for further detail.

  • How do I pay for the rental?

    You can pay via our online booking system. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further detail.

  • What time is check in/ out?

    Check out is 10.00 a.m. Check in is either 3.00 p.m. or 4.00 p.m. dependent on property.

  • Where do I collect the keys?

    Keys will either be within a key safe at the property or collected from our office at:
    41 High Street, Elie, KY9 1BZ.
    You will be provided with full booking details and key collection information upon payment of your final balance by e-mail or post (if this is requested).

  • What are your opening hours?

    Our office opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

  • I may be arriving late, is this a problem?

    No problem at all, just let us know at least 48 hours prior to your arrival and we can make suitable arrangements.

  • What happens if I have to cancel my booking?

    Any cancellation must be in writing or by e-mail. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details of our cancellation policy. We strongly advise all clients to take out travel cancellation insurance.

  • Are bed linen and towels provided?

    Yes, in all of our rentals, bed linen and towels are provided.

  • Do any of the properties allow smoking?

    No, sorry, as a courtesy to other guests none of the properties permit smoking. Most properties have gardens or courtyards where you can smoke but we ask that guests dispose of their cigarette ends thoughtfully.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Many of our properties permit pets. We have a search facility on our website which will allow you to search for pet friendly properties. Please note that pets are not permitted on the furniture and gardens must be free from any pet fouling on departure.

  • What is a Refundable Damage Deposit?

    A Refundable Damage Deposit is applicable to all bookings and is held in case of breakages, loss or damage to items or any excess cleaning required during your stay. This will be refunded after your stay (usually within a week) providing no damages or excess cleaning have been noted.

  • What do I do with the refuse?

    Please come prepared to recycle refuse and follow the instructions given in every property on how to dispose of refuse.
