Driftwood Cottage is a traditional fisherman's house, which has been completely refurbished to provide an ideal getaway for guests to experience the beauty and history of the East Neuk of Fife and surrounding areas. With superior finishes and detailing, and a secluded private, rear garden, it is just right for family and friends to relax and catch up. It has 3 generous bedrooms (1 on the ground floor). There is a superb, fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious open plan living space, which is the focal point of the house with its log burning stove. There is one private parking space at the rear. Driftwood Cottage is very homely and is designed for guests to relax and unwind. Wi-Fi.

The Location

Pittenweem is a charming, historic East Neuk village, which has a working harbour at its heart with small creel boats, fishing boats and trawlers which bring in fresh seafood which is sold directly at the harbourside and supplied to many mobile fish sellers and restaurants through East Fife and beyond. It is home to numerous eating places which include The Dory Bistro, Chip Ahoy @ Larachmor, The Pittenweem Ice Cream Shop and The Pittenweem Chocolate Company's Cocoa Tree café is next door to the Clocktower restaurant, in addition to The Pittenweem Hub with its Newsagents, Pharmacy, Post Office and Licensed Grocery and the West End pub just along the road from the main street. The Pittenweem Tidal Pool on the West Braes lined by the Fife Coastal Path, and each summer it's host to the famous Pittenweem Arts Festival – which brings international interest. It is 20 minutes to St Andrews by car and 5-10 mins to Elie, both of which boasts beautiful sandy beaches, bars and restaurants and the local area has six golf courses.
