Elie is a popular seaside town, with a long, Blue Flag sandy beach on one side, and a choice of Golf Courses on the other. The harbour is popular with small pleasure craft, and the surrounding bay attracts windsurfers and bathers. The Water Sports Club offers a choice of water related sports for children and adults alike, and for tennis lovers, there's courts within easy reach. A local bus service connects Elie to the other villages along the East Neuk, and St Andrews is only 10 miles approx away.
